I am pleased to announce our inaugural women’s basketball pickleball tournament was a success. The event served as a great welcome for Coach Sharp, her staff, and players to the Boone community. We had 24 teams participate and raised over $4,000 dollars to directly support our women’s basketball team. As well as a silent auction where we gave away some exclusive items and experiences including a dinner at Coach Sharp’s residence. This event is a representation of what we want to continue in the future of fostering a strong relationship within the community. We are grateful for the enthusiasm, participation and support of all involved, looking ahead to similar events that we are planning we hope to have the same if not more of that. - TIGMA GM Josh Thomas

COACH CLARK PRESSER: WEEK 1 VS ETSU

It’s been a long year without football but Coach Clark has finally hit the podium ahead of App State’s home opener against East Tennessee State:

SCOUTING THE BUCS

The Bucs hit the field in Boone tomorrow from the FCS ranks. Here are a few things you can keep in mind about ETSU:

• ETSU capped off the 2023 campaign with a 35-23 win against The Citadel

• Eight student-athletes were preseason All-SoCon by Phil Steele

• William McRainey was named a Preseason All-American by Stats Perform FCS

• The Bucs finished 2023 with a 2-6 mark in SoCon play

🏐 August 30 // Volleyball is seeing a doubleheader in the Bobcat Invitational with Xavier at 10:30 am ET and Wright State at 4:30 pm ET
