Despite an impressive performance from the Mountaineers that saw multiple student-athletes scoring in the endzone, App State ultimately fell to Marshall 52-37 on the road. The team is set to head south to Louisiana next weekend to even out its season record (READ MORE).

Coach Clark had some media availability following Saturday’s loss on the road.

As we approach the 2024-2025 basketball season, the excitement is palpable. Coming off a record-breaking 27-win season, which included a perfect 15-0 home record and a Sun Belt Conference regular-season championship, Coach Kerns and the team are poised for another exceptional year. Our annual Men's Basketball Tip-Off Dinner on November 1 is a cherished tradition that allows us to celebrate our past achievements and build anticipation for the upcoming season. This special night will include ESPN college basketball analyst Jimmy Dykes as our keynote speaker, the 2023-24 Sun Belt regular season championship banner reveal, and Coach Kerns’ insights and expectations for the new season.
